Brand and website
Indian cinema is a cultural and economic powerhouse, with a growing reach. Aotearoa’s own screen sector is globally recognised for its craft, innovation, and storytelling. Film India Screen Collective was created to strengthen the connection between these two industries, fostering co-productions, creative exchange, and more inclusive representation. The studio partnered with FISC to develop a brand and website that reflected these ambitions. Our idea was an Indian & NZ co-production, which guided the brand's strategy and design development. Through this, we brought the colour, cultural aesthetics and blockbuster energy of Indian cinema into conversation with the clarity and restraint of New Zealand design. The FISC website supports community and crew sign-ups, screenings, workshops and events. It’s modular, accessible, and built to grow with the Collective. Alongside this, we also created FISC’s sister brand, The Indian Film Festival of New Zealand, to champion South Asian voices in NZ.
